Robert Barry Watson writes: "Lloyd Stone of “STONES DRUG STORE” , Baddeck, on the ice at Baddeck, sometime in the 50’s or 60’s. It was interesting to know he would DROP prescriptions from his plane , with small parachutes from World War 2, to out of town customers . Not only that, he would fly some of his staff home to Washabuck /Iona area(after he landed of course!). Lloyd passed away on August 23,2023 at the age of 95 . He was born in Whitney Pier in 1928.
