Welcome Dawn!

We're so happy to welcome Dawn to our Just Like Family Home Care management Team! With a diverse background spanning hands-on healthcare and corporate operations, Dawn brings a unique blend of empathy, organization, and efficiency to the JLF community.

Dawn began her career in Victoria, BC, specializing in high-touch clinical environments, including geriatric psychiatry, long-term care, and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) support. This foundational experience instilled in her a deep commitment to patient advocacy and compassionate care.

Since relocating to Alberta, she has channeled her passion for helping others into operational excellence. She specializes in client relations management, administration, payroll, and scheduling. She also proudly serves her community through dedicated home support for adults with FASD and Autism, and as an elderly companion. By merging clinical insight with strong administrative skills, Dawn ensures both everyday operations and client relationships run seamlessly.

When she is not supporting the JLF community, Dawn is usually exploring the great outdoors. She is an avid hiker and loves taking road trips into the mountains or by the water with her fiancé, Matthew. She is also a proud dog mom to two energetic pups: Moose, a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix, and Ruby, an Aussie/Doodle mix.
