Can we talk about something no one talks about?

Did you know almost 1 in 2 women deal with bladder leaks at some point? Like laughing too hard, sneezing, jumping on a trampoline with your kid, and suddenly you’re doing the math on how far away the bathroom is. Sound familiar?

Here’s the thing. You don’t just have to live with it. The Emsella chair is one of the treatments we offer here at Calgary Centre for Health, and, it’s easier than you think! You sit down, stay fully clothed, and relax for about 30 minutes while it does thousands of pelvic floor contractions for you. No surgery, no downtime, nothing complicated about it.

If you’ve been quietly dealing with this and wondering if there’s an actual fix, there is, and we’d love to chat about it.

Come find out if the Emsella chair is right for you. Book a complimentary consultation using the link in our bio.

So what is that cracking sound during an adjustment?

It’s probably not what you think.

That pop is not your bones moving back into place.

When a joint is moved during an adjustment, the pressure inside the joint changes quickly. This can cause gases in the joint fluid to form a small cavity, which creates the popping sound.

In other words, you’re hearing a sound coming from inside the joint, not your bones cracking or snapping back into place.

So why can an adjustment help?

An adjustment can help reduce pain and improve how a joint moves, which can make it easier to get back to the activities and movements you enjoy.

The goal isn’t the crack. The goal is helping you move better, feel better, and get back to doing what you love.

Pelvic floor concerns are more common than most people realize, but that doesn’t mean they should be ignored.

If you experience bladder leaks when you run, jump, lift, cough or sneeze, you’re not alone. Emsella is a non-invasive treatment designed to stimulate pelvic floor muscle contractions while you remain fully clothed, with no downtime required.

Because pelvic floor health is part of movement, too.

Curious about Emsella? Book a complimentary consultation at Calgary Centre for Health to learn more.
