You are not your emotions.

You are the one who notices them.
The one who feels them.
The one who learns from them.

Anxiety, overwhelm, vulnerability, insecurity — these emotions can feel all-consuming when they show up. But emotions are data, not identity. They are signals pointing toward something important, not definitions of who you are.

When we create a little space between ourselves and our emotions, we gain the ability to respond with greater clarity, compassion, and choice.

The next time a difficult feeling arises, try this simple shift:

💭 Instead of: “I am anxious.”
✨ Try: “I am feeling anxious.”

That small change can create room for awareness, curiosity, and self-compassion.
