Another educational workshop option for perinatal mental health! It will be led by two registered psychotherapists Courtney Smyth Courtney Smyth, Registered Psychotherapist and Kathryn Palmer Kathryn Palmer, Registered Psychotherapist who are both certified in perinatal mental health 💖

“Partners in Mental Health helps couples prepare for the emotional and practical transition to parenthood. We’ll explore perinatal mental health, preparing for birth and early postpartum, understanding both partners’ needs, postpartum planning, and resources.

The workshop is neurodivergent and ADHD-friendly, with practical tools and flexible delivery to support different learning styles.”

Preparing for Postpartum: Perinatal Mental Health & What to Expect 🌱

As part of the Perinatal Wellness Project by JNM Wellness, we’re welcoming Jen Nadon-Murray to lead a free 60-minute educational session on perinatal mental health. Aimed at expecting parents and their support people, the session will cover what to expect in the transition to postpartum, what to watch out for, how to build a support plan, and when to get help.

Provincial funding does not pay for clinical equipment, so AGH relies on community support. All funds raised go straight to the AGH Obstetrics Unit, the place where many of our clients choose to bring their babies into the world!
