Sometimes, the hardest part of school happens before a student ever makes it through the doors. 🩷

The tears. The anxiety. The anger. The “I can’t do this today.”

For some students, school has become overwhelming — and when it does, they may start missing out on more than academics. They miss connection, friendships, experiences and that feeling of belonging.

That’s why we started asking a different question:
What does this student need to make going feel possible again?

Every student’s journey can look different. And with the right support, there can be a path forward.

The Bridge Program brings together mental health support, individualized learning and community mentorship to help students rebuild confidence, reconnect with learning and work toward returning to their school community.

Now accepting students Grade 3 - Grade 12.

IT TAKES A COMMUNITY ❤

Throughout the month of September, we will be sharing 60+ community partners, organizations and businesses that R.O.C.K. is proud and grateful to work with on a regular basis.

Teamwork, collaboration and community support are so important, as we recognize that no one organization can address complex issues like houselessness, substance use and mental health alone.

You will notice that at the centre of each of these lists are people with lived and living experience (PWLE). All of the work that R.O.C.K. does is informed and led by PWLE of houselessness and substance use. Their experiences provide valuable insight into the realities of houselessness and substance use, helping us better understand barriers, identify gaps and develop approaches that are respectful, practical and responsive to the people we serve.

TEEN DROP-IN IS BACK!

Sometimes teens just need a place where they can show up, slow down, and just be.

Teen Drop-In is a FREE, welcoming space for teens ages 13+ to connect, create, reset—or simply hang out in a space that feels comfortable and accepting.

No pressure. No expectations. Just a consistent place to land every other Wednesday.

A big thank you to Crowfest Chatham-Kent for having us! 🖤🐦‍⬛

It’s been such a pleasure being part of the committee and watching this awesome event come to life. We loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new ones, and seeing our community come together to celebrate …..crows 😂.

A special thank you to our incredible artists who put so much time, creativity, and heart into bringing their pieces and ideas to life.

And thank you to everyone who stopped by, checked out the installations, participated, said hello, or simply took a moment to enjoy what was created.

We loved being a small part of such a great weekend in Chatham. 🤍
