The Principal purpose of the Foundation is to assist St. Joseph’s Hospital to advance the welfare and good of the citizens it serves by:

💙 In Memory of Duane M. Conrad (1936–2025)

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Ann Conrad and her sons, David (Diana), Bill (Valerie), Jeffrey (Catherine), and John, along with their families, for their incredibly generous donation of $20,000 to Radiothon for Life in memory of Duane M. Conrad.

This meaningful gift is a powerful tribute to Duane’s life and legacy and will help ensure that vital chemotherapy services remain available close to home for patients and families in our community.

At a time when they are honouring the memory of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and family member, the Conrad family has chosen to make a lasting impact on the lives of others facing a cancer journey.

💙 What an incredible day for our community.

Because of the overwhelming generosity of our donors, volunteers, sponsors, and community members, we are proud to announce that the 2026 Radiothon for Life raised $198,410 in support of chemotherapy services at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Once again, our community has shown what is possible when we come together for a cause that impacts so many families right here at home.

To every person who made a donation, shared a story, answered phones, prepared meals, volunteered their time, supported behind the scenes, and to our incredible hospital staff who provide compassionate cancer care each and every day - thank you. Your kindness and dedication make a real difference.

We continue to be amazed by the unwavering support of this community and the commitment to ensuring patients can receive their chemotherapy treatments close to home, surrounded by the people and places they love.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making the 2026 Radiothon for Life another remarkable success.

🔔 A truly special moment, especially on Radiothon Day as we raise funds to keep chemo services close to home at our hospital.

Today, John Widdifield rang the bell that marks the completion of his chemotherapy journey. A moment filled with emotion, strength, and hope.

John generously allowed us to share his cancer journey with our community throughout our Radiothon for Life campaign. His story has been a powerful reminder of exactly why we are so passionate about keeping chemotherapy services available close to home. To now see him ring this bell at St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by the family and community that has stood behind him, is a moment we will never forget.

This bell represents so much more than the end of treatment. It represents courage through the hardest days, the support of family and friends, and the hope that comes with moving forward.

Thank you, John, for sharing your journey and allowing us to celebrate this incredible milestone with you.

And it begins!

We are all set up at the St. Joseph's Hospital for our 15th Annual Radiothon for Life.

Thank you Sun 102.3 Fm , Country 106.1 FM and CJ 1150 Radio for having us on air today from 6AM-6PM to share our story and help us raise funds for the Chemotherapy Department at our hospital.

We would also like to send out a HUGE thank you to the Estevan Rotary Club for their incredible $50,000 donation to start us off. We truly appreciate all of your amazing support of not only our hospital, but our community as a whole.

Big thank you to Lori Carr - MLA Estevan-Big Muddy for helping us bright and early at the 6 a.m. shift! We appreciate all of your support.
