POV: We really do have a dress code. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤
We couldn’t resist this trend! If it’s not our scrubs or our all-black outfits... it’s our Annetta’s Army shirts. šŸ’—

But this matching outfit means so much more.

Last year, our team proudly wore these shirts at the CIBC Run for the Cure in support of our amazing colleague, Annetta, who returned to work after her breast cancer journey. Some trends are worth joining—this one reminds us that showing up for each other never goes out of style. 🫶

Where will my facelift scar be? šŸ¤”

Dr. Lacey demonstrates where a facelift incision can be on our Head Nurse, Melissa, explaining where scars are placed and the reasoning behind each location. Facelift incisions are carefully planned to follow the natural contours of the ear and hairline, helping scars heal as discreetly as possible while providing access to lift and reposition the underlying tissues.

Every patient is unique, and incision placement is always tailored to your anatomy and surgical goals.

How long should your weight be stable before considering a tummy tuck?✨

If you’ve been on a weight loss journey and are thinking about a tummy tuck, timing matters.

Dr. Lacey generally recommends that your weight be stable for at least three months before coming in for a consultation. A stable weight helps ensure the best possible surgical planning and long-lasting results.

Weight loss is a journey, and we’re honoured to be part of that journey with our patients every step of the way.

Have more questions or ready to explore your options? Call 613-591-1099 to book a consultation and meet with Dr. Lacey personally.

ā€œIf I don’t peel, does that mean my chemical peel didn’t work?ā€ šŸ¤”

Myth! Visible peeling isn’t the only sign your treatment is working. Many chemical peels work at the cellular level, stimulating skin renewal without noticeable flaking.

Not all peels are designed to make you peel. Some focus on hydration, brightening, or gentle exfoliation, making them perfect for sensitive skin or those wanting little to no downtime.

The best part? Chemical peels can be fully customized to your skin type, concerns, and goals - because every patient’s skin is different. ✨

How long do breast implants last? šŸ¤”

This is one of the most common questions we get - and it’s an important one to consider before surgery.

While breast implants aren’t considered lifetime devices, they also don’t automatically need to be replaced every 10 years. On average, implants last 10–15 years, but many patients can have them for 20 years or longer without any concerns.

Regular monitoring is key. We recommend having your implants assessed around the 10-year mark, or sooner if you notice any changes or have concerns.

✨ Did you know we also offer breast implant checkups at our clinic?

Will my breasts feel natural with implants?✨

It’s one of the most common questions and concerns Dr. Lacey hears from patients considering breast augmentation.

If achieving a natural feel is one of your priorities, Dr. Lacey often recommends gel implants, as they closely mimic the feel of natural breast tissue for many patients.

Every patient is unique, and during your consultation, Dr. Lacey will discuss the implant options that best align with your goals, anatomy, and lifestyle.

Have more questions or ready to take the next step? Call 613-591-1099 to book your consultation and meet with Dr. Lacey personally.

Can you breastfeed with breast implants? 🤱✨

It’s one of the most common questions Dr. Lacey hears from women considering breast augmentation.

The good news? Yes. In most cases, breast implants don’t affect how the breast functions or its ability to produce milk and breastfeed.

Another common misconception is that there’s a ā€œrightā€ age for breast implants. The truth is, there’s no age limit. Some women choose surgery before having children, while many others wait until they’ve completed their families and decide it’s the right time to invest in themselves.

Have questions about breast augmentation or wondering if it’s right for you? Dr. Lacey is here to help. Call 613-591-1099 to book your consultation.
