Dry needling the upper trap can provide some pretty instant relief!
This is just a small portion of a treatment however
If the traps are tight I will typically stimulate with both 10Hz and 1Hz on the electro stim

Along with working antagonist muscles in the Serratus Anterior

Functional assessment is pivotal to determine the cause of the pain - It’s more than just “needle where it hurts”

What you’re seeing here is motor point stimulation of the upper trapezius muscle.

A gentle electrical current is delivered through an acupuncture needle placed directly into the muscle, creating a controlled contraction.

This can help improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, stimulate the release of natural pain-relieving chemicals, and improve communication between the nervous system and the muscle.

When trigger points develop in the upper trap, they can contribute to pain in the shoulder, neck, and even referral patterns associated with tension headaches and pain around the side of the head.

If you’re struggling with neck tension, headaches, or shoulder pain, we can help identify the root cause and create a treatment plan tailored to you.

In Chinese face reading, the face is seen as a reflection of both internal health and life patterns.

Different areas of the face are believed to correspond to different emotional tendencies, habits, and energetic imbalances over time.

For example, in this perspective, excessive wrinkling around the lips is sometimes associated with a pattern of over-giving, over-nurturing, or constantly putting others first.

Over time, repeated facial expressions, emotional patterns, and tension can begin to show on the face.

How to change this?

Awareness creates choice.

Supporting your face isn’t only about what you apply externally —
it’s also about how you care for your energy, your boundaries, and yourself.

✨ A simple practice:
Gently massage and hold the area around the lips while taking slow, deep breaths.
Focus on softening the muscles and releasing tension.

At the same time, ask yourself:
Where can I give to myself as much as I give to others?

Because sometimes, softening the face begins with supporting yourself.
