This was a great day!

Every year, our Highview team proudly participates in the Walk for Alzheimer's, joining fellow community members at local walk events on Saturday to raise awareness and support for those living with dementia and their families. It was inspiring to see so many people come together for a cause that touches the lives of so many.

Thanks to the generosity and support of our Residents, families, staff, community partners, and donors, our two Highview locations raised an amazing $15,000+ 🎉 for the Alzheimer Society at Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners and Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington 💙💙.

Our Residents joined in the celebration by taking a walk through our beautiful gardens, enjoying the sunshine and spending time together outdoors.

The funds raised through the Wealth Walk for Alzheimer's help provide vital programs, services, education, advocacy, and support for people living with dementia and the care partners. Every donation stays in our community.

Together, we are helping create a more compassionate and supportive community for those affected by dementia.

It was our honour to Walk, cheer, sing, move, blow-bubbles and participate in the southwest communities on Saturday. It was a glorious day for weather and for community ... all coming together.

Today, we walked in support of people living with dementia. Thank you again to everyone who donated, joined our residents for the walk, and proudly wore blue in support of the Alzheimer’s Walk. Your kindness and participation meant so much to our community.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to show a small token of appreciation to our amazing staff for all of your hard work, dedication, and care each day. We gave out free tumblers and drinks as a simple thank-you for everything you do.

Celebrating Mother’s Day here at Highview! 💐

Today was filled with live music, trivia questions, coloring, lots of socializing, and a flower for every mom. It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter, and special moments shared together as we celebrated the amazing mothers in our community. ❤️
