This week, Highview Lucan welcomes its very first residents Home. 🏡❤️

In the days ahead, our halls will come alive with new friendships, family visits, shared meals, laughter, familiar routines, and all the everyday moments that make Highview home. ✨

The London Free Press recently sat down with Highview President Joy Birch for a Q+A exploring the vision behind Highview Lucan, what intergenerational living will look like, the supports we provide, our different living options, and why Lucan was the perfect community for our unique home.

The Grand Opening was an exciting milestone for Highview Lucan, and we’re so grateful to have had the opportunity to welcome CTV London into our home and share more about the community we’re building. 🏡✨

What a celebration ✨🏡

We’re still reflecting on the incredible Grand Opening of Highview Lucan and feeling so grateful for everyone who helped make the day possible.

From our founders and shareholders to our incredible team, families, partners, local businesses and community organizations, thank you for believing in what we’re building and for being part of this journey.

Opening our doors to hundreds of guests was such a special moment. We loved having the opportunity to show people around the home, explore the cottages, experience the thoughtful design and share the heart and purpose behind Highview.

We were also incredibly grateful to see Highview Lucan recognized by media across Southwestern Ontario and beyond, with coverage spanning newspapers, television, radio, podcasts and digital platforms.

This is more than a new home. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for our residents, their families and the community.

Thank you, Lucan, for welcoming us with open arms. We’re so happy to call this community home. ❤️

We officially celebrated the Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting of Highview Lucan, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for this incredible community. 🏡

Built with love and purpose, Highview Lucan’s intergenerational home is rooted in connection, belonging, dignity, inclusion, and community, creating a place where everyone can feel valued, supported, and truly at home.

To everyone who joined us, supported us, celebrated alongside us, and helped bring this vision to life, thank you. Your presence made this milestone even more meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible team, whose countless hours, dedication, creativity, and care brought this vision to life. This moment would not have been possible without you.

A decade of dedication, countless memories, and so much to celebrate!

We are so thankful for the expertise, care, and support Suzanne brings to our Corporate Office and to the entire Highview team. Her dedication over the past 10 years has made such a meaningful difference, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her as part of our Highview family.

We had the best time celebrating Suzanne with a special luncheon, enjoying delicious food, sharing lots of laughs, and celebrating all that she has contributed to Highview over the years! 🥂✨

What a successful BBQ party at Highview! ☀️🌭🎶

It was a wonderful day filled with great music, delicious BBQ, laughter, and the joy of spending time together. Seeing our residents, families, and staff come together to share smiles and create special memories made the event truly meaningful.
