🌞 Exciting News: Chelsea is back! 🌞

We are so happy to share that Chelsea will be returning this summer to offer in-person counselling sessions in Richibucto on Fridays! 💙

Chelsea primarily practices in the Saint-John region, but while spending time vacationing in our beautiful corner of New Brunswick, she generously makes herself available to support clients in our Richibucto office. During the winter months, Chelsea continues to support clients through virtual sessions, allowing clients to maintain continuity of care year-round.

One of the things we are most grateful for is the incredible professionals who choose to share their time, expertise, and passion with our community. Finding experienced therapists who are willing to serve rural communities can be challenging, which makes opportunities like this feel even more special.

We often hear people say that high-quality mental health services are only available in larger cities. At Vyve, we believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, skilled care close to home. Thanks to therapists like Chelsea, that vision continues to become a reality.

Meeting Susan Holt was a true privilege.

Our conversation was brief, but what stood out most was her genuine passion. You could feel her commitment to making a difference and her belief in creating systems that better support people, communities, and organizations doing important work. Those roles are not easy, and leadership often comes with difficult decisions, criticism, and tremendous responsibility.

This isn’t a political post.

For me, it’s not about political parties or colors. It’s about people. It’s about character, courage, and the willingness to step forward and serve, even when the path isn’t easy.

What impacted me most was the conversation it created at home.

Before meeting her, my daughter was excited because I had promised I would ask for a picture. Seeing a woman leading our province opened the door to a much bigger discussion about leadership, possibility, and what it means to have a seat at the table.

As mothers, we spend so much time teaching our daughters to be kind, to work hard, to find their voice, and to believe in themselves. But it is equally important that they see women in leadership. They need to see women making decisions, having difficult conversations, leading with conviction, and influencing the future of their communities.

Representation matters.

Not because women lead exactly like men, but because women bring their own strengths to leadership: empathy, collaboration, resilience, creativity, and a deep understanding of the human impact behind every decision.

I left that conversation feeling grateful. Not just for the opportunity to meet our Premier, but for the opportunity to show my daughter that there is room for women at every table.

And perhaps more importantly, that if there isn’t a seat available, she should have the courage to create one. ❤️

🎉 FOUR YEARS!!! 🎉

…and every single day, fear, doubt, and uncertainty still show up…. but I choose courage and trust! ❤️

Five years ago, I left my 17 year career with Government of New Brunswick, because I knew I wanted something different. My light was being dimmed, and my body was telling me it was time to listen.

“Do it scared.”

So that’s what I did.

What started as a dream has grown into something I could never have imagined. Today, we have an incredible team, multiple locations, and the privilege of walking alongside more than 100 clients each week as they heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves.

But what I’m most grateful for isn’t the growth.

It’s the people.

The client who found their voice. ❤️

The person who finally felt understood. ❤️

The couple who chose to fight for their relationship. ❤️

The individual who realized their past did not have to define their future. ❤️

The therapists who believed in our vision. ❤️

The team members who show up each day with compassion, heart, and purpose. ❤️

Those moments. Those stories. Those people…..That’s what this journey has always been about. Every. Single. Day!

Looking back, I’ve learned that success isn’t built by having all the answers. It’s built one choice at a time. One brave step at a time. One day at a time.

Today, I am simply grateful.

Many in Kent County may already know Julia through her years of supporting clients through her Massage Therapy Clinic in St-Louis-de-Kent; offering deep tissue, relaxation, prenatal, and TMJ massage. But what makes Julia such a beautiful fit at Vyve is the compassion and understanding she brings through her own healing journey.

Through EMDR, Julia has experienced firsthand how deeply our stories, stressors, and pain can live in our bodies; and how healing becomes possible when we learn to reconnect with ourselves with kindness. One step at a time! 🥰
