🌍💚 Happy Earth Day from Canadian Family Health Counselling 💚🌍

Today is a beautiful reminder that caring for the Earth is also a powerful way of caring for your mind. 🌿

✨ Did you know?
• Spending just 20 minutes in nature can significantly lower stress hormones 🌱
• Being around trees and green spaces can improve mood and reduce anxiety 🌳
• Listening to natural sounds like birds or water can calm the nervous system 🕊️
• Gardening or touching soil has been linked to boosting serotonin, the “feel-good” chemical 🌼

Nature has a gentle way of grounding us, helping us slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect, not just with the world around us, but with ourselves.

This Earth Day, take a moment to step outside, feel the sun, notice the air, and let nature support your emotional well-being. 🌞

💫 Small acts matter: go for a walk, plant something, reduce waste, or simply pause and appreciate the beauty around you.

When we nurture the Earth, we nurture our mental health too. 💚
