Your body is a compound pharmacy.
The first peptides were never sold, they were made!!

In response to light, to darkness, from challenge and in response to connection. ✨

Your cells are listening to the world around them and changing their chemistry every moment of the day.

PEP is a conversation about that world.

July 14.

Drop the kids at daycare.

Clear your calendar.

Claim a vacation day, schedule an appointment, rearrange your meetings, or simply decide that a Tuesday in the prairie sun is a worthy use of your time.

You know you're curious.

🌞🌑

The New Moon arrives beneath some of the longest days of the year.

More than 16 hours of Saskatchewan daylight.

A table stretching through wild grasses.

Fresh food.

Botanical drinks.

Music drifting across the field.

Good company.

A touch of whimsy.

Space to wander.

Mycelium in Full Sun
A High Tea Gathering

11am to sundown.
Private prairie land.

Many of you have been moving through this seasonal arc with me already.

Hibernation invited rest.

Seasons of Mycelium explored connection.

Prairie Rolf Yoga organized the body around light, breath, and landscape.

July brings us together under an open sky.

Linen dresses, bare feet, laughter carried on the wind, sunlight warming your shoulders, and nowhere else you need to be.

The prairie knows exactly what season it is.

Maybe it's time we remembered too.

Cervical Wellness is arriving in the Wise Woman Vault.

This is a multi-part wisdom container exploring the cervix through anatomy, physiology, sexuality, body literacy, nervous system function, fertility, pleasure, and women's health.

You can join through the Vault and receive the full series as it unfolds, or purchase individual classes as stand-alone live or replay options.

Each class is designed to stand on its own while also building upon the previous teachings. Together they create a deeper understanding of the cervix, the female body, and the practical skills that bring this knowledge into everyday life.

We'll explore modern science, traditional wisdom, lived experience, and the pieces that are often missing from mainstream conversations about women's bodies.

In my opinion, this is information every woman should already know.

Our first live masterclass is June 9th.

I can't wait to share this with you.

This is the rhythm of life.
Not rigid scheduling. Not optimization. Rhythm.

In the beginning, human babies borrow the nervous system, timing, heartbeat, warmth, hormones, breath, and circadian cues of the mother. Their biology is literally organizing itself through relationship.

Every feed is more than calories.

It is light information. Safety information. Time information.
Breastfeeding helps entrain the infant nervous system, metabolism, sleep-wake cycles, immune function, temperature regulation, and hormonal rhythms over time. The pattern changes because the baby changes. Biology adapts through connection.

You can actually see the transition here: from constant early feeding…
to more organized rhythms…
to the child eventually keeping only morning and evening feeds anchored into daily life.

This is why preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood should be treated as sacred windows of human development. These are foundational periods where lifelong rhythms are being established.

Human babies do not arrive with fully formed biological timing.

At first, they co-regulate through you!!

And honestly… this graph may be one of the best visual representations of matrescence I’ve seen in a long time.

3:14 a.m.

There’s a liminal space on the prairies that many people never experience.

The threshold where darkness begins softening into dawn.
The moment the horizon starts carrying light again.
The seasonal shift becoming visible in real time.

In deep winter, night stretches long across the northern plains. Then slowly, dawn begins arriving earlier. By summer, true darkness barely lingers here at all. Twilight folds itself into sunrise only hours after sunset.

New mothers know this space.
People who live close to the land know this space.
Anyone who regularly witnesses the sky before the world wakes understands there is something profound happening there.

Watching the horizon breathe itself awake in complete silence can feel overwhelming in the most beautiful way.

The body responds to it, my nervous system responds to it. Its ancient inside us responds to this!

Standing in real darkness long enough to witness the return of light changes your perception. The colours sharpen. The air feels alive. Time slows down enough for the world to reveal itself differently.

It can feel deeply psychedelic in the truest sense of the word.

Not through escape.
Through presence.

Many people move through life surrounded by constant light, noise, notifications, and stimulation. The nervous system rarely gets the contrast needed to fully experience dawn as an event.

Out here on the prairie, you can still find that threshold if you go looking for it.

Hope to see you Sunday at Poplar Bluffs.

A lot of people find me through Instagram first and don’t always realize how many layers this work has grown into over the years.

Some women come in through bodywork and stay for the education. Others begin with a class, a Substack essay, or a seasonal gathering. The Vault has quietly become a place where people listen to workshops while driving prairie highways, cooking dinner, resting, walking, or slowly changing the way they relate to their bodies over time.

The ecosystem was built this way intentionally.

Different seasons of life call for different levels of support, depth, and connection.

Right now the work moves through:
✨️Instagram and free education
✨️Substack writings
🌿live classes and workshops
⚡️the Wise Woman Vault
🍄seasonal group spaces
🙌🏼1:1 support
👀retreats and restoration experiences

Everything is connected, while still leaving room to enter in a way that feels sustainable and grounded for your life.

Especially here on the prairies, where the body is constantly responding to light, season, nervous system load, nourishment, weather, and rhythm.

Just a modern day wise woman - doing her thing😘

What you need:

A body.
An open mind.
Curiosity.
About 60 minutes a week.
Devotion helps more than motivation.

Most people already have everything else at home.

Rolled up socks.
A tennis ball.
A kid’s ball.
A frozen water bottle.
A rolled blanket or towel.
A foam roller if you already own one.

This work was designed to be accessible.

Barefoot contact with the earth is encouraged whenever possible. Prairie summer gives us a short window each year where the body naturally wants more movement, more sunlight, more interaction with the environment.

Outside is ideal for the full experience.

Morning, evening, sunset, under the trees, in the grass — all count. Midday sun can be added gradually as your system adapts.

The goal is relationship with your body, not performance.

The prairies have their own rhythm.

Long winters. Dry air. Dramatic shifts in light across the year.

Your body responds to where you live whether you notice it or not.

Most women were never taught how to care for themselves in this environment.

I care deeply about helping prairie women feel well where they actually live.
