ICYMI: Saskatoon Sexual Health recently launched a fundraiser for our Patient Navigator program. Thank you to those who have supported the fundraiser so far!

Through our Patient Navigator program, patients receive pregnancy options counselling, in-clinic medical abortion services, referrals for surgical abortions, coordination of ultrasounds and lab work, follow-up care, and ongoing emotional and practical support during a time-sensitive and often overwhelming experience. We support hundreds of patients throughout the province through this program.

Our Abortion Patient Navigator Program is at risk. Despite existing funding support, there remains a significant gap between what is currently funded and what is required to continue delivering this essential service. We urgently need to raise an additional $20,000 to maintain even the bare minimum level of patient support. Your support helps keep abortion care accessible, compassionate, and timely. With every "ticket" purchase, you will receive an instant tax receipt and a complimentary 3-pack of pro-choice stickers. Thank you!

Help Us Keep Abortions Accessible in Saskatchewan! πŸ’š

Since 2025, Saskatoon Sexual Health has experienced a significant and sustained increase in patients needing access to abortion care. The need for accessible abortion services in Saskatchewan continues to grow. To help patients access pregnancy options counselling and abortion care, we launched a pilot Patient Navigator Program in 2023. What began as approximately 500 patients annually increased to 700, then 750, and last year alone, 903 people accessed our clinic for pregnancy options counselling and abortion care.

Through this program, patients receive pregnancy options counselling, in-clinic medical abortion services, referrals for surgical abortions, referrals for adoptions and ob-gyns if they choose to continue with their pregnancy, coordination of ultrasounds and lab work, follow-up care, and ongoing emotional and practical support during a time-sensitive and often overwhelming experience.

Our Patient Navigator is the person who helps make this care possible. They coordinate appointments, connect patients to services, assist with barriers such as transportation and childcare, support patients experiencing violence or financial instability, and help ensure no one falls through the cracks while accessing essential healthcare.

Our Abortion Patient Navigator Program is at risk. Despite existing funding support, there remains a significant gap between what is currently funded and what is required to continue delivering this essential service. We urgently need to raise an additional $20,000 to maintain our current level of patient support. Without this program, patients across Saskatchewan, particularly those in rural and northern communities, will face even greater barriers, delays, and inequities in accessing abortion care.

Your donation helps keep abortion care accessible. Every donation directly supports patients accessing reproductive healthcare.
Please donate today and help us raise the remaining $20,000 needed to sustain this program. Your support helps keep abortion care accessible, compassionate, and timely. Thank you!
