Sexual Health Saskatoon Sexual Health (formerly Planned Parenthood Saskatoon Centre) is a youth-friendly, pro-choice charitable organization.

We serve Saskatoon and the surrounding community, providing sexual health information and resources, low-cost birth control, pregnancy options counseling and support, and doctor referrals.

Meet Kate!

Kate, is our Patient Health Navigator at Saskatoon Sexual Health!

A few things to know about Kate: Kate started with us 4 years ago as a volunteer, and became our Patient Navigator this past summer!

My favourite part of the job: Having clients leave feeling more secure and confident than when they first came in.

Outside of work, you can find me: singing and performing, hanging with her cats, and reading about the history of medicine.

One thing I want everyone to know about s*xual health: Sexual health is for everybody, and there is no shame in the multitude of experiences people have. Down with the stigma!

A s*xy costume isn’t consent. Neither is flirting, dancing, or being out late.

This Halloween, miss us with the assumptions!

Consent is about what someone agrees to, not what they’re wearing. It should always be freely given, specific, and ongoing.

Wear what makes you feel good. Respect other people’s boundaries. And when in doubt? Ask!

Meet Delilah!

Delilah, is our Education Coordinator at Saskatoon Sexual Health!

A few things to know about Delilah: They have been a part of the SSH team for over 6 years, providing gold-standard s*xual and reproductive health education across the province!

My favourite part of the job: Watching young people grow and thrive through our programming, and witnessing those light bulb moments when people learn something new or important about s*xuality.

Outside of work, you can find me: bird watching.

One thing I want everyone to know about s*xual health: STBBIs are common and normal, despite it sometimes feeling scary or lonely when you’re going through it.

Don't forget it's not only your sacred bundle that needs wrapping, you're sacred too! Treat your wellness like you would your sacred bundle, and wrap yourself up. At the lodge we have lots of safer s*x supplies to choose from whether its condoms, dental dams, or internal condoms, you have options!

A win for comprehensive s*x ed 🥳💜

🎉Action Canada celebrates new updates to Manitoba's s*x-ed curriculum, which features a focus on consent and age-appropriate introductions to puberty, menstruation, gender identity, and human rights.

The updates also address the overlap between s*xual health, consent, and new technologies like artificial intelligence, deepfakes, and "s*xtortion." 📱

Evidence shows that age-appropriate comprehensive s*x-ed sets young people up for healthier, safer relationships with their bodies, their health, and other people. In short, comprehensive s*x-ed makes schools safer. 🏫💓

MYTH MONDAY: Semen retention edition!

With No Nut November around the corner, let’s talk about semen retention and what the science actually says.

Some people choose to practise semen retention for personal, cultural, or spiritual reasons. Others may want to explore their relationship with po*******hy, ma********on, or s*xual habits. These can all be valid personal choices!

But claims that semen retention significantly boosts testosterone, builds muscle, or improves energy and focus aren’t supported by strong scientific evidence.

You’re free to abstain from ej*******on if you want to, but you don’t need to do it to be healthy. And ej*******ng isn’t something you need to feel guilty about, either!

Sexual health looks different for everyone. What matters is making informed choices that feel right for you, rather than feeling pressured by internet trends.
