Make a Difference One Ride at a Time ❤️ 🚗
Canadian Red Cross is currently looking for volunteer Transportation Drivers to help provide rides to and from medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social outings⬇️
Volunteer requirements include:
• Valid G driver’s licence
• Satisfactory driving record
• Clean CPIC (Criminal Record Check)
• Compassionate and supportive approach to working with seniors

Drivers may:
• Use an organization fleet vehicle (must be 25+ years old for insurance purposes), or
• Use their own vehicle with mileage reimbursement available
⏱️Minimum 6-month commitment with typical shifts once per week for a minimum of 4 - 6 hours.
Thanks to the kindness and dedication of the Canadian Red Cross volunteer Transportation Drivers, seniors can access the care they need with dignity, compassion, and support.

What a great opportunity for folks looking to get out and volunteer a few hours a week

We're looking for compassionate volunteers to join our Patient & Family Advisory Program.

As an Advisor, you'll connect with patients and families through respectful conversation and active listening, helping us recognize exceptional care, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance the overall hospital experience.

What you'll do:
✔️ Engage with patients and families
✔️ Gather and document feedback
✔️ Recognize outstanding care
✔️ Support service recovery and quality improvement
✔️ Help ensure patient voices are heard

We're looking for individuals who are:
• Empathetic and respectful
• Strong communicators and listeners
• Professional, reliable, and objective
• Comfortable working in a healthcare environment
• Passionate about improving patient and family experiences

Time commitment: Just 1–2 hours per shift, with participation encouraged once per week.

Training is provided, and volunteers must complete required health screening and onboarding requirements.
