Sometimes the best therapy is trying something completely new with your girlfriends.

Last week we traded our usual routine for a soap making class .naturals , and it was such a fun reminder that you're never too old to learn a new skill, make a mess, laugh a little too hard and create some great memories.

The soap turned out pretty great too. I used poppyseeds as the exfoliant and peppermint and tea tree essential oils.

Here's your reminder to say "Yes" to something different- you never know how much fun you'll have until you try.

After what feels like 47 straight days of rain 🌧️ ☔️ the clouds finally gave us a break!
Managed to sneak out for 9 holes of golf the other day, and honestly, the sunshine felt almost as good as a perfect drive ⛳️
Our scorecards weren't important- just being outside (with sunscreen of course), staying dry and remembering what summer is supposed to feel like.

Is it just me, or is laundry basically a full- time hobby?
No matter how many loads I do, there always seems to be another basket waiting. Towels, washcloths and bedding.... it never ends!

Thankfully, I'm one of those weird people who actually enjoy it. There's something satisfying about warm fabric fresh from the dryer, neatly folded stacks(just ask my neighbour Chasity), and that clean laundry smell.

So when some people dread laundry day, I'm over here embracing my never- ending relationship with the washing machine.

Anyone with me? Want to hear something even crazier? I iron my pillow cases!! Is that weird??
