I am a certified Qi Gong and Hatha Yoga teacher. I focus on Yang Sheng Fa, a tradition of the Chinese Sages' quest for longevity, which are recommendations for diet, lifestyle and exercise. My focus is toward the inherent wisdom of the individual. My aim is to draw on my holistic tool belt in a way that gently guides you back to your birthright of alignement. My interest in facilitating healing be
gan with facilitating Outward Bound trips. I craved to be in nature, yet I found a deep disconnect upon returning to the city and wondered how to heal within one’s locale. Along the way I completed a BA in Psychology, because I wanted to help people. However the more I learned the more I believed in ancient healing methods. I connected with these time-tested modalities, which continues to support me and I feel greatful to support others in their journeys. I discovered breath work and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I became involved in nature-based educations for adults and children. I was a tree-planter for seven years in the far north and western Canada, so I am very aware of repetitive strain injuries and managing the body for optimal performance. I believe in heart-centred listening and the hypnagogic healing of Acupuncture, especially in these fast-paced times. I strive to remain impeccable and to offer solace in whatever state you arrive in. As a women and one currently living with PCOS: I have traversed much in my short time and it is an honour to be able to hold space and provide solutions. From anything to an aching back to a heartbroken state, digestive complaints to PTSD: Acupuncture has thousands of years of clinical efficacy for all human maladies.
