🦌🍁Meet Brian🍁🦌

Brian is the Grounds Keeper at Pleasantview and has been a valued member of the Arbor team for 15 years. He loves spending time outdoors, especially during the fall season. When he's not at work, you'll often find him at his hunting camp near Bracebridge, where he enjoys the peace and simplicity of being away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With limited phone service and only the basic necessities, it's the perfect place to relax and recharge.

This year has been especially meaningful for Brian, as he welcomed a beautiful baby girl in February. Becoming a father has been the highlight of his life, and his daughter is truly his whole world.

Fun Fact: Brian is pictured in Structure 6 standing in front of his grandparents' crypts, making Pleasantview a place that holds special personal meaning for him.

Join us in wishing Brian a very Happy Birthday!

🧶Meet Karen🧶

For the past 10½ years, Karen has been the friendly and dependable face behind Administration, helping support both her team and the families they serve with care and dedication.

When she's not at work, Karen loves spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking for family, friends, and neighbours. The Christmas season is especially special to her, when she bakes more than 25 varieties of cookies and squares to share with those around her. She also enjoys relaxing with a good book and expressing her creativity through knitting.

Giving back has always been important to Karen. Since 1991, she has knitted approximately 350 toques each year, donating them to organizations such as Out of the Cold, local schools, and Family and Children's Services to help keep others warm during the colder months.

A fun fact!: she is an Ordained Minister, a reflection of her compassionate spirit and lifelong commitment to caring for and supporting others in her community.

Join us in wishing Karen a happy birthday!

The love we share with our pets never fades. They leave paw prints on our hearts that last a lifetime.

Pleasantview Funeral Home & Cemetery warmly invites you, your family, and your current pets to join us for a special afternoon dedicated to remembering the companions who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Together, we’ll celebrate their lives through a remembrance walk, a slideshow of treasured memories, refreshments, and the comfort of being surrounded by others who understand the bond we share with our animals.

This is a FREE community event, and all pets are welcome.

If you would like your beloved pet included in our memorial slideshow, please send a photo to:
