🌱Every time you eat, your blood sugar spikes. But here's how you control it.
What you eat matters. Fibre, protein, and healthy fats slow down how fast sugar hits your bloodstream. So eating vegetables first, then protein, then carbs in that order can dramatically flatten that spike.
"But here's what most people don't know your biggest metabolic organ isn't your liver. It's your muscles Your large muscles act like a glucose sponge. The moment you use them after a meal, even a 10-minute walk, they absorb that sugar out of your bloodstream before it ever becomes a problem.
So eat nutrient dense food, Eat in the right order and Then move those big muscles. Your blood sugar and your energy will thankyou🍁

🌱 Your resting heart rate tells you more about your health than you think.
You must be wondering what is a RHR , "Resting heart rate is how many times your heart beats per minute — when you're completely at rest. The best time to check it? First thing in the morning, before you even get out of bed."
Now For most adults, a healthy resting heart rate is between 60 and 100 beats per minute. But in elite athletes Theirs can drop as low as 40.The lower end of normal often means a stronger, more efficient heart."
 what drives the RHR up?
when your RHR creeps higher, you must pay attention. Stress, poor sleep, dehydration, excess caffeine, smoking, obesity, and underlying conditions like thyroid issues or heart disease can all push your resting heart rate up.
"Check your number. It might be telling you something important🍁

🌱The most underrated health decision you'll ever make… is choosing peace. Every argument you have is literally making you sick.
Inflammation is your body's alarm system — it activates when there's a threat. your body cannot tell the difference between a physical wound and an emotional one.
When you argue, your brain triggers the same chronic stress response as if you were being attacked. Cortisol and adrenaline floods your system. Your heart rate spikes, your immune system fires up, and inflammation surges through your body. now once in a while argument gets your body recovers but do this constantly like toxic relationships, daily conflicts, unresolved tension and that inflammation never fully shuts off.
Chronic inflammation has been linked to heart disease, autoimmune disease, depression, accelerated aging, gut health issues, and cancer.
Research shows that couples who argue with hostility have measurably higher inflammatory markers in their blood even hours after the fight ends.
Your body is keeping score… even when you think you've moved on. 🍁

🌱Holistic nutrition is not a Monday morning decision. It's not a 5-day cleanse, a 30-day reset, or a season you step into and out of. It's a lifelong conversation between you and your body.
It's learning to eat with intention — not restriction. Understanding that food is information, and every meal is a message you send to your cells. It's choosing whole, living foods not because a diet told you to, but because you know what nourishment feels like from the inside out.
Holistic nutrition sees the full picture. It recognizes that stress digests differently than peace. That sleep is a nutrient. That joy has a biology. That the same meal eaten in a hurry, in shame, or in gratitude lands differently in your body.
It's not about being perfect — it's about being present. Present at the table. Present in your choices. Present in the understanding that what you eat today is quietly building who you become tomorrow.
This isn't a program you finish. There's no end date, no graduation, no going back to "normal." This becomes your normal. Season by season, year by year — your relationship with food deepens, your body wisdom grows, and health stops being something you chase and starts being something you live.
Holistic nutrition is the long game. And the long game is the only one worth playing🍁

You've been taking magnesium… and feeling WORSE. Here's why
Most people assume magnesium is safe for everyone.
But there's a group of people who take it… and instead of feeling calm and restored — they feel anxious, wired bloated, completely drained or experience insomnia, yep you heard me correct.
it's not the magnesium itself.
It's what's underneath.
If your gut lining is compromised that is you have leaky gut, dysbiosis or chronic inflammation magnesium can actually feed the wrong bacteria and trigger fermentation, and worsen bloating and cramps.
Also If your kidneys aren't filtering efficiently then magnesium builds up instead of being used creating fatigue and brain fog.
If you're severely deficient in cofactors like Vitamin D, B6, or boron — magnesium simply cannot be absorbed properly and just passes through causing more harm than good. And if you have certain genetic variants like MTHFR mutations — your body processes minerals completely differently than everyone else.
This is why I always educate my clients that Supplements aren't one size fits all and not all supplementsare made equal. Your body has a specific language — it's time you learned to read it.🍁

So many people are sick… and have no idea why.
Parasites are living organisms that invade your body and feed off you silently.
You can pick them up from undercooked meat, contaminated water, unwashed produc, soil contact, even barefoot walking or a pet's lick on your face.
Once inside, they can travel to your gut, your liver, your muscles even your brain which is scary. The symptoms they cause: chronic fatigue,
bloating,
brain fog,
skin rashes,
joint pain,
unexplained weight loss or gain,
anxiety, basically mimic dozens of other conditions.
So traditional practioners treat the symptoms. They prescribe antidepressants, IBS medication, allergy pills… never looking for the real cause.
A parasite can live inside a human body for years even decades, all while the immune system stays in a constant low-grade war exhausting itself, triggering inflammation, destroying your quality of life.
If you've been sick for years with no clear answer… maybe the question was never asked right🍁

Conventional medicine manages autoimmune disease. Functional medicine asks why it started."
"In functional medicine, autoimmune disease isn't just a diagnosis — it's a signal. Your body is inflamed, overwhelmed, and out of balance. The goal isn't to suppress your immune system. It's to find the root cause."
"What triggers it?
Leaky gut — where toxins leak into your bloodstream. Chronic stress — that keeps cortisol constantly high. Hidden infections, mold, or heavy metals. And ofcourse food — gluten, dairy, and sugar are big culprits.
"Functional medicine uses food as medicine, heals the gut, reduces toxic load, balances hormones, and addresses stress — to calm the immune system naturally.
"Don't just manage symptoms. Find the root. Heal the cause.🍁
