Elmar, Case Manager with our PASS program in Saskatchewan, recently attended the Nova Scotia IEN Conference 2026 in Halifax.

The two-day conference was filled with stories, collaboration, celebration and important conversations about IEN integration and retention. Elmar shared CARE Centre’s services and introduced the Workplace Integration Program.

One key takeaway was that integration is just as important as hiring. Creating workplaces where IENs feel welcomed, valued, connected and supported helps them stay, grow and thrive in Canada’s healthcare system.
