In honour of Cal Smith, whose legacy was defined by hard work, integrity, generosity, and dedication to others, we are proud to introduce the Cal Smith Sarcoma Scholarship. đź’›

Cal believed deeply in the importance of opportunity, perseverance, and supporting people in reaching their full potential. This scholarship was created to carry those values forward and support individuals pursuing their educational goals while navigating life after a sarcoma diagnosis.

Eligibility:
• Diagnosed with sarcoma at age 18 or older
• Resident of Ontario
• Enrolled in a post-secondary institution during the 2026–2027 academic year

We are honoured to celebrate a legacy that will continue to inspire and support the next generation for years to come.

This past weekend, we came together for the 3K for AYA Walk and were reminded of just how powerful community can be.

It was incredibly meaningful to spend the day alongside our adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer community, patients, survivors, families, friends, healthcare providers, and supporters, all showing up for a population that can too often be overlooked in the cancer system. Young adults facing cancer experience unique challenges that don’t always fit neatly into pediatric or adult care, making community support and specialized resources so important.

Because of the generosity and support from everyone involved, we raised funds that will directly go toward expanding patient supports and programs for AYA patients. These contributions will help us continue creating spaces, resources, and opportunities that make a real difference for young adults navigating cancer.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and cheered us on. Your support helps ensure AYA patients feel seen, supported, and never alone.
