OUTDOOR PROJECTS takes on
100-mile team relay (2 teams)

A tough day given the conditions—Ontario’s biggest single day rainfall in who knows how long? Made for interesting conditions to say the least.

With the weather worsening throughout the day, our spirit never wavered. Ahead of this race, we collectively set a goal to improve on how our teams did in this race last year—mission accomplished. Top 15 finish for both teams (11th & 13th).

Beyond the performance, the day highlighted our teams culture. Playing to our strengths and coming together, cheering each other on as well as anyone who needed it out there. The ripple effect is real—believe that.

Basecamp was elite. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making our little village a safe haven for us and our extended family/community. Hats off to our teammate and team chef , who was cooking up a storm of his own all weekend.

Huge shoutout to our coaches .endurance for their ongoing support and guidance.

Caught a vibe out there for sure but now it’s onto the next. More than half of our team is eyeing down their upcoming triathlons before we go after a summer of ultras. Sulphur was just the beginning and we’re hype for what’s next.

On May 27, we’re trading splits and pace for stillness, observation and a different kind of movement practice.

Led by Leslieville staple, .athletics very own and PhD Candidate in Biology, , we’ll head through Crothers Woods for a slow morning in the Don—learning how to listen closer, notice more and tune into the spring migration moving through the city right now.

Most people use kettlebells like a random conditioning tool.

Swing hard. Get tired. Repeat.

This isn’t that.

Starting May 16, is leading a free weekly kettlebell class focused on actually learning the craft behind the tool — whether that’s sport style, hardstyle, or simply understanding how to move with more precision, power, and confidence.

You’ll build foundations that lay a ground work to expand from. Kettlebells are one of the most versatile tools in training.

But only if you know how to use them properly.

INTRODUCING: JACK WARD

Personal Trainer

“I’ve spent over a decade coaching and teaching across a wide range of environments—from professional athletes to everyday people looking to move and feel better.

My work pulls from strength & conditioning, primal movement, pre- and rehab, hardstyle and kettlebell sport, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, and track & field.

At the core of it, I’m focused on helping people find more freedom in their bodies—whether that’s improving performance in sport or building the kind of strength that supports you long-term.”

Our friend and Leslieville staple, , will be hosting a 10-week strength training program at ÜNDA for midlife women starting this week!

Dr. Janice comes into the space, combining two decades as a strength & conditioning coach with her naturopathic practice, to offer a comprehensive and supportive approach.

Her first cohort starts THIS FRIDAY APRIL 17.
Classes are every Friday from 1-2pm. A perfect way to end the week and head into the weekend feeling strong.

Small group by design. Intentional coaching. Programming that is practical to help you integrate it into your life, for a lifetime.
