We are excited to share some wonderful news with you!
HeartLinks Has a New Name and Is Now Incorporated!
As of July 20, 2026, HeartLinks has officially been incorporated as a Not-for-Profit Corporation, and our new legal name is:
HeartLinks Transplant Support Network
This is more than a name change, it marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our HeartLinks community.
The time had come for HeartLinks to take this important step. As an incorporated not-for-profit, we now have a formal legal structure that allows us to enter into agreements, establish an official organizational bank account, and, most importantly, help protect and preserve the HeartLinks legacy for years to come.
We remain a not-for-profit organization and not a registered charity. At this stage, the additional requirements and complexities associated with charitable status are beyond the scope of our small but mighty organization. Our focus remains on what matters most: supporting our transplant community.
Why the New Name?
Our new name reflects our growing vision to connect and support people throughout the transplant journey.
Whether you are a transplant recipient, transplant candidate, caregiver, family member, friend, or someone who simply wants to support the transplant community, HeartLinks is here for you.
Our heart and purpose remain the same:
Connecting people. Sharing experiences. Providing support. Reminding each other that no one has to walk the transplant journey alone.
