We are excited to announce the addition of Physiotherapist Tonino Cotroneo to our Bridgwater office. Please call 204-306-3801 or book online at www.completephysiotherapy.ca.
Tonino graduated from the University of Manitoba with his Masters of Physical Therapy in 2026, after previously completing his Bachelors of Kinesiology.
During his clinical placements, Tonino gained experience across a range of healthcare settings, including orthopaedics and pulmonary, cardiac, and neurological rehabilitation. These experiences allowed him to work with patients across the lifespan and with a variety of conditions. This helped Tonino develop a well-rounded clinical foundation and the ability to adapt his approach to each patient’s unique needs and goals.
He has a passion for combining exercise and manual therapy that is tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. He believes exercise can be prescribed and adapted in a variety of ways to help individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall health and physical performance. His keen interest in exercise and biomechanics continues to shape his approach to physiotherapy.
Growing up as an athlete, Tonino developed an early appreciation for the role physiotherapy plays in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and athletic performance. His background in sport sparked his interest in how the body moves and adapts to exercise. He enjoys helping patients regain confidence in their own movement and creating goals that work toward the activities that are important to them
Tonino is passionate about continuing his education and plans to pursue additional training in dry needling, acupuncture, TPI (Titleist Performance Institute), and advanced orthopaedic courses.
Outside of the clinic, Tonino enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. He loves hiking, camping, fishing, and boating, and has a deep passion for cars and motorsport. He also enjoys playing soccer, hockey, and golf.
