Many families tell us they wish they had talked more openly about wishes before the time came. Not because everything needs to be decided, but because even small conversations can help bring clarity and comfort later on.
You might choose to talk about the kind of service you would prefer, or simply share what feels important to you. Others may prefer to listen first and take things slowly.
There is no right or wrong way to approach these conversations. What matters is finding a way that feels natural for you and your family.
We are here if you would like to talk things through.

This week is Dying Matters Awareness Week, a time to encourage open conversations about death, dying and grief.
For many people, these conversations feel difficult to begin. It can feel like the wrong time, or the wrong words, or something that can wait. But often, once a conversation starts, it brings a sense of relief and understanding for everyone involved.
It does not have to be a big or formal discussion. It might begin with something simple, like sharing a memory, talking about what matters most, or asking a gentle question.
If you would ever like guidance or a listening ear, we are here to support you.
