“If you experience confusion, dizziness, a rapid heart rate, or you stop sweating, these can all be signs of heatstroke. Seek urgent medical help.”

“If you have blood pressure concerns, keep monitoring your readings regularly, as hot weather can cause your blood pressure to drop. If you take blood pressure medication, staying well hydrated is especially important, as these medicines can increase the risk of dehydration.”

And here’s a few extra tips from our team:
💧 Drink water regularly, even if you don’t feel thirsty.
🌳 Seek shade during the hottest part of the day (11am–3pm where possible).
👒 Wear loose, light-coloured clothing and don’t forget sunscreen.
