ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOTICE from the family of the late Glenna Taylor (Newry).

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported us following the loss of our much-loved mum, Glenna, on 21st March 2026.

Your kindness, messages of sympathy, and presence — whether in person or in spirit — have brought us great comfort during a very difficult time.

We are especially grateful to all the friends, family, carers, and healthcare staff who helped care for Mum throughout the years of her illness, including the wonderful staff at Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home for their compassion, kindness, and support.

We would also like to thank those who made donations in Mum’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society. This cause is close to our hearts, and your generosity will help support others affected by this illness.

Thank you for honouring Mum’s life in such a meaningful way.

With heartfelt thanks,

The Taylor Family

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOTICE from the family of the late Helen Clarke.

We the family of the late Helen Isobel Clarke (Banbridge) would like to express our heartfelt thanks and deepest gratitude for the kindness, sympathy and support extended to us by so many during our recent sad bereavement.

To everyone who attended the funeral on a really bad winters day we say a big thank you to you all. Your cards of sympathy, messages of condolences and social media posts were all of great comfort.

A very special thank you to the Rev Stuart Finlay from Sandy Street Presbyterian Church for conducting such a beautiful graveside service and tribute to our Mum.

We are deeply appreciative of the care Mum received from the staff at Iveagh Private Nursing Home (Banbridge), they cared for Mum this past year and were professional, attentive and very kind to us as a family.

Thank you to David Hanna for the music tribute at the graveside and to The Downshire Arms Hotel for the funeral tea.

We are further grateful for the donations in lieu of flowers for Newry Cancer Research.

Finally our sincere thanks to George Preston Funeral Directors, for their thoughtfulness, professionalism and compassion, especially Gavin, Declan and Paul who ensured all the arrangements were carried out with both dignity and respect.

Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by everyone as a token of our sincere gratitude.

The Clarke Family
