Patrick “Pat” Moore – Month's Mind & Acknowledgment

The family of the late Patrick Moore wish to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported them during their recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to our relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues who offered condolences, attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of support, flowers, and helped in any way during this difficult time. Your kindness, compassion and generosity brought great comfort to us and will always be remembered.

A special word of thanks to Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast who cared for Dad throughout his illness, to the very rev Fr Sean Larkin and Deacon Philip Carder who celebrated his Requiem Mass, the readers, Kerrie Kennedy for her beautiful singing ,our sacristan and all who participated in the funeral liturgy. We also extend our appreciation to Daniel Mallon for his professionalism and guidance.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Patrick's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 14th June at 11:30am in The Good Shepherd Church Cloughreagh.

Co Armagh

Weir (Bessbrook) Alan, passed away, peacefully, at home 1st June 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of Lorna, loving Dad to Stephen (Tara), Mark (Stephanie) and Robert (Andrea), cherished Granda Alan to Harry, Sophie, Emily and Kenzie, dearest son of the late Noel and Lila, brother of David, Irene, Noel and Caroline, caring son in law to Norma and the late Roy Black, much loved uncle, brother-in-law and friend.

Alan’s remains will repose Tuesday and Wednesday 12pm-2pm and 5pm-8pm at Mallon’s Funeral Home, Mill Rd, Bessbrook BT35 7DT.
Funeral cortège will pass Fountain St Bessbrook on foot at approximately 10:30am on Thursday for 11am Funeral Service in Christ Church Bessbrook, followed by cremation service for family and close friends in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family circle and many friends.

Months Mind notice and acknowledgement from the family of the late Ignatius “Nishie” Hughes RIP.
We, the family of the late Nishie Hughes, would like to express our deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent bereavement.
Our heartfelt thanks to L&B Care Services and Annie’s carers for the care, kindness and support they showed Daddy at home and to the District Nursing team and staff from Clanyre Doctors Surgery.
We thank Fr Emmanuel for celebrating Daddy”s funeral Mass and delivering a beautiful and meaningful homily which was deeply comforting to us. We also thank Holly Trainor and Terry Rafferty for their beautiful singing and music throughout the Mass and everyone who helped in any way during the ceremony.
Thank you to all those who called at Daddy’s home, sent mass or sympathy cards, telephoned or left messages online.
We also thank our extended family, many friends and neighbours who brought food and refreshments and helped in many ways during the wake. The support we received during the wake and funeral has been overwhelming and we will be forever grateful to those who helped us during this time.

Moore (Newry and formerly Bessbrook) Patrick “Pat” RIP, passed away peacefully 14th May 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
