In Loving Memory of 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗺 (𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗲) 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘀𝗼𝗻, late of 36 Cullyhanna Road, Newtownhamilton, whose 1st Anniversary occurs on 6th September 2026.

Sadly, missed everyday by his wife Leona, children Fionn, Cahal and Leah. Mum Sheila, Dad Brendan, brothers Kieran, Harry, Brendan and Fergal, sister Anne, nieces and nephews and the entire Davidson and Caherty families.

𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗺’𝘀 anniversary mass will take place on Sunday 6th September 2026 in St Michael’s Church, Newtownhamilton at 10am.

𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐤𝐞 (𝐍𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐲) 𝐂𝐨. 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐡 – 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – Hilda passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in ‘Our Mother of Mercy Nursing Home’. Formally of Newtownhamilton. Wife of the late Brendan. Mother of Sue (Caherty) and Pat (Dixon). Grandmother of Paul, Mark, Leona, Tracey and Sean.

Hilda will repose at her granddaughter Leona’s home 36 Cullyhanna Road, Newtownhamilton, BT35 0JB, from today Thursday 1pm - 9pm and Friday 12 noon – 9pm.

Removal on Saturday at 9.30am to St Michael’s Church, Newtownhamilton for 10am requiem mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her daughters, sons-in-law John and Trevor, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and entire family circle.

**𝐀𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧**

The family of the late 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 (𝐧é𝐞 𝐌𝐜𝐂𝐨𝐲) would like to thank all those who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement. Thank you to everyone who called at the house, sent Mass Offerings, Sympathy cards and letters, posted messages of condolence online, helped out during the wake, brought gifts, floral tributes and attended the funeral.

Sincere thanks to all those who cared for 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 with such kindness and compassion over the years; the Doctors, District Nurses and staff of Newtownhamilton Health Centre, the carers from the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, the staff of Clarke’s Chemist, Newtownhamilton and the private carers.

Thank you to Canon Michael Toner for his pastoral support and for concelebrating the Requiem Mass with Canon Malachy Conlon. Thanks also to Dearbhla and Dermot for the beautiful singing and music at the funeral.

We would also like to thank the local businesses for their mark of respect as the funeral passed. Thanks also to Murlan House for the floral arrangements, Slieveview for the marquee, McEntee’s Catering and the Newtownhamilton Rural Community Association for the use of the Rural Community Hall.

A final thank you to Murray Funeral Directors, Cullyhanna for all their help with the funeral arrangements and also to Andrew who prepared the grave.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
