✨ A New Chapter for Crea8ing Community ✨
As many of you now know, Crea8ing Community is moving on to a new chapter in our journey.
For the past five years, we have had the privilege of calling our centre next to Co-op Academy Hillside home. It has been a place filled with laughter, friendship, support and countless special memories.
Unfortunately, our time here has come to an end as the school has plans for the building. We want to say a huge thank you to the fantastic team at Co-op Academy Hillside for all the amazing collaboration over the years – from Forest School sessions, summer activities and family fun days, to our much-loved Fireworks Night. 🎆
The good news is that this year's fireworks event is already in the planning, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the school for many years to come.
But don't worry… we wouldn't leave the Nocky! 💚
We are incredibly grateful to St Peter's Catholic Primary School for offering us a base for our Friday Drop-In and Chill Youthie and Thursday Mind Over Natter Coffee Morning. Our Nocky Nook Gardening Project, in partnership with the residents' committee, will continue, and our Friday Afternoon Tea will also remain on the estate.
While it is sad to leave a place that has become “home” for so many families, volunteers and staff, we are also excited about what comes next. Our new chapter will see us moving back to a new site in Birkenhead, and we can't wait to share more details with you soon! 🌟
🧹 A little favour…
We need to have the building cleared and cleaned by the end of the week. If you have a spare hour or two and would like to lend a hand, we'd be so grateful. Pop in for a brew ☕ and help us pack up five years of memories!
