Crea8ing Community

Crea8ing Community Crea8ing Community - Foundations for the future. Not for profit Community Interest Company.

Family & Mental Health Education and Support
Making mental health support, well-being and resilience development integral to all our services. Our primary aim is to build the resilience, mental health and wellbeing of young people and families to enable them to live happy healthy lives through bringing people
together and providing non-judgemental support, learning, and volunteering
opportunities. Working as a non-profit social enterprise, we offer mental health support through the delivery of well-being and resilience building workshops and psycho-educational courses for families and young people, along with career and employability support; developing the necessary transferable skills to secure future employment. We empower individuals to build their foundations for the future.

We take a holistic approach to services providing wraparound support for all participants engaged with our parenting programmes, with family support coaching, peer-led support groups and activities, specialising in a trauma informed approach; making this an integral part of education and life experience.

We are pleased to share the news that Knowing Me is the new Neurodevelopmental profiling tool.

In the Neurodiversity Hub you will find information on all ten areas of the new tool. Knowing Me is a much more neuro-affirmative tool. It focusses on the strengths of people who are neurodivergent. This supports them to have a positive understanding of who they are.

The tool identifies things they may need support with. All of the SENCOs in our Wirral schools have been trained to use the tool. They will soon have a digital version they can complete. In the meantime all of the key information you need is on SENDLO.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TODAY 🙌🙌🙌

PLEASE COME ALONG TO THE FLORAL PAVILLION BETWEEN 2PM AND 6PM TO VOTE.

THERE ARE BUS SHUTTLES RUNNING FROM NOCTORUM FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT DRIVE AND THERE IS FACEPAINTING AND ARTS AND CRAFTS FOR THE KIDS TO ENJOY ❤️❤️❤️

The groups operating within Wirral's three EVOLVE areas – Beechwood & Ballantyne, Noctorum and Woodchurch – recently submitted their applications for funding of up to £2,000 that they hope to use to deliver their idea.

The projects or initiatives they want to deliver need to focus on one or more themes of health and wellbeing, reducing or preventing crime and/or anti-social behaviour, youth engagement/intervention, environmental issues or community cohesion.

Bidding groups will now get to ‘pitch’ their ideas to local people in an event that is taking place at New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion Theatre and Conference Centre on August 24th from 2pm to 6pm.

Crea8ing Community have sought funding for the Noctorum Fireworks and supporting our local Youthie!

Anyone who lives, works or uses services within Beechwood & Ballantyne, Noctorum or Woodchurch is eligible to vote. They can visit and chat to groups at the event and choose their favourite ideas - every person voting will be entered into a free prize giveaway. Voting is from 2pm to 4.30pm.

There will be free refreshments and snacks at the event and children can enjoy arts and crafts and free face painting.

To help residents get to the venue, a free transport service will be available on the day, providing a shuttle bus from the three estates to the Floral and back three times during the event – the times can be found below.
