Happy Yorkshire Day!
Today we celebrate the proud spirit, landscapes and people of God’s Own County. We especially remember those Yorkshire icons whose lives enriched us all and whose memory still lives on — the incomparable Michael Parkinson, whose warmth and wit brought so many stories to life, and the legendary Brian Clough, whose passion and plain-speaking left an indelible mark on the beautiful game.
Their legacies remind us that the people we love never truly leave us. At times of loss, we are here to help families honour those cherished memories with care and dignity.
