We're Recruiting New Patient Forum Members

Oak Tree Patient Forum is looking for new members to join our group.

The Forum meets quarterly, usually at lunchtime, with a GP Partner and the Practice Business Manager to discuss patient services and provide feedback, ideas, and support to help improve the practice.

Membership is voluntary.

If you would like to join, please send a short paragraph about yourself and what you feel you could contribute to the Forum to:

You can also register your interest in writing at the reception desk.

We are particularly keen to hear from:

Young people aged 16 to 25
Parents or carers of children under 16

However, we welcome expressions of interest from all patients.

Please submit your expression of interest by 1 September.

NHS screening programmes are designed to identify potential health problems before symptoms appear, giving you the best chance of receiving treatment early if needed 🩺
Screening is offered to different groups of people at different stages of life and can help detect conditions such as certain cancers, abdominal aortic aneurysms and other health concerns before they become more serious ⚠️
Most screening tests are quick, simple and free through the NHS 👍
Even if you feel well, it's important to attend when invited. Screening can provide reassurance or help identify problems early, when treatment is often more effective 💙
