Not all heroes wear capes, but today they do!

The Highgate Superhero Summer Party is officially underway. Today, our residents, families and amazing team members across our homes are dressed to impress, enjoying fantastic activities, music, crafts and refreshments together.

Today is to celebrate the incredible everyday heroes who bring so much joy to our care homes and communities, while also raising vital funds for the Alzheimer's Society.

🎉 Celebrating Our VFF Accreditation at Maple Lodge Care Home 🎉

We celebrated achieving our Veteran Friendly Framework Accreditation with a fantastic afternoon of music, dancing and plenty of cake! 🥳

There was live music, with residents, visitors and staff joining in with singing and dancing. And no party would be complete without a delicious buffet of cakes, which went down a treat! 🍰☕

It was a fantastic afternoon filled with laughter, good company and plenty of fun as we marked this wonderful achievement together. 🎉😊

We had some special visitors as Biscuit and Marshmallow, two very adorable guinea pigs, came along to say hello! It was lovely to see the smiles on our residents’ faces as everyone spent some time with our little furry friends. 🐹💕

Richard kept everyone entertained with his singing and guitar, with plenty of residents joining in and singing along. 🎶🎸

The weather couldn’t have been better, making it a lovely afternoon for residents and relatives to get together and enjoy the sunshine. ☀️😊
