Care-OS

Care-OS The operating system for care: One Platform. Five Sectors. Built for CQC 2026, not retrofitted for it

18/09/2026

Between visits, families ring the office because they don't know.

The office knows. The carer knows. The person making the call is the family, ringing because they can't see what everyone else can see.

CareOS home care includes a family portal. The family's view of their loved one's care, in plain English. Mum's mood at recent visits. Notes from every carer. Updates from the office. Incidents the care team have shared with the family, sanitised and clear.

That's an all-in-one care management platform for UK domiciliary care agencies. Fewer phone calls to the office. More time on the visits that matter. The daughter read what happened, before she rang.

How many "how is mum today?" calls did your office field this week?

Switching care management software is where most agencies stall.

They know their current care management software doesn't fit any more. The problem is moving everything across without missing a shift. Clients, staff, care plans, medications, rotas.

CareOS handles the move for you. Managed migration is free, always. Whether you're on a legacy system, an old spreadsheet stack, or domiciliary care software that stopped fitting your agency, the switch is done for you, not by you.

What's covered: clients, staff and care plans. Medications and assessments. Visit templates, rotas, and electronic care planning.

You keep running your agency. We handle the switch.

You can have the best coordinator in the world and a bullet proof system, sometimes it happens, a carer is late: what matters is how quickly you respond.

CareOS is an AI-native care management software built for UK domiciliary care agencies. Late visits show on the ops board the minute they slip. The right coordinator gets a nudge, not the whole team. The reason and the fix land in the record.

Have a look for yourself how AI can reduce the burden of compliance:

Rotas, care plans, eMAR, notes and audits — one AI-powered app, everything included.

Home care from £9 per client per month, with a £100/month minimum — and we migrate you off your current system for free.

No modules. No per-carer fees. Every feature on every plan. → careos.uk

A homecare visit paid at £25 an hour is not underpaid work. It is loss-making by around £9 an hour.

That's what the Homecare Association 2026 minimum price of £34.42 an hour says, against a council average of £25.05. In the same six months, 44% of council areas saw a homecare provider exit, cease trading or hand contracts back.

The market isn't paying the sector's costs. The fee review that would fix it keeps slipping. That leaves the three levers a provider still owns. Admin cost. Rota tightness. Travel.

CareOS is domiciliary care software made for that operating reality. Every shift scored on skills, travel, availability and continuity. One-click reassignment on the same score. Any visit whose numbers don't work, flagged in the rota before it runs.

If your current care management software is not scoring the rota this way, it was built for a different fee environment. What most agencies are actually looking at when they consider switching from Birdie or PASS is that gap.

The fee gap is the sector's problem. The operating gap is yours.

If the fee review slips again, what does the 2027 rota look like?

With compliance now covered this still leaves operations management, commercial viability, HR and Service Delivery.

CareOS assists with commercial stewardship by showing key analytics such as gross margins of visits, most expensive service users and carers as well as allowing customisation of margin alerts.

These crucial analytics are possible thanks to billing, invoicing and payroll being run native within CareOS.
