Care UK's luxurious new care home Ladden View, in Yate provides individually tailored care in luxurious surroundings. The home offers a full range of care services, from permanent residential and dementia care to short-term respite care. Each of the bedrooms at Ladden View are beautifully furnished, individually decorated and have its own en-suite wet room. The home also has a coffee shop, cinema room and hair and beauty salon, as well as extensive gardens and outdoor spaces.

Waaaaaaterrr Fighhhhht🔫💦

This afternoon we had the most fantastic and fun time at Ladden View having a staff and resident water fight🔫💦

The roars, echoes of laughter and joyful smiles witnessed from the garden were second to none!! We all had an absolute blast and the residents loved getting the staff absolutely soaked😂

The residents using newspaper and towels to shield themselves has to be the highlight of the afternoon📰😂

It was so lovely seeing everyone have such a fun time and making wonderful memories that will be cherished. It’s the little things that mean the most🤍

Summer of Love☀️🎶💕

This morning we kicked off the week in the sunshine with the wonderful Nick from Mini Concerts, performing his “Summer of Love” set. Including well known hits like “Sweet Caroline”, “Surfin’ USA” and “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay”, staff and residents enjoyed singing, toe tapping and waving their hands with the brilliant Nick🎶🤩

Fruit Kebabs & Giant Jenga🍉🍓🍇

This afternoon we enjoyed the beautiful sunshine, making delicious and refreshing fruit kebabs, and enjoying a funny game or 2 of giant jenga☀️

The giant jenga bought out some underlying competitive sides to our residents, they were laughing away. Seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter that something so simple created, makes everything I do, so much more meaningful✨

Wedding Bells💒💍

Our lovely resident Ken was surprised this afternoon by his newlywed Grandson and now Wife when they stopped by Ladden View this afternoon to share their good news💍

Ken’s face was a picture and he was absolutely delighted to hear about the big day and share the newlywed bubble with his grandson and family. It’s special moments like this that mean the most to us all.

Ladden View x Henley Regatta 2026🚣⚓️

Today our amazing CRM, Dan and Lifestyle Lead, Pollyanna, hosted Ladden View’s Henley Regatta 2026 event for our wonderful residents and their loved ones🎉⚓️

From live music, with massive thanks to Mini Concerts and nautical bingo, to a delicious afternoon tea and quizzes, we had a truly incredible day. A massive thank you to the ever fantastic kitchen team who created an outstanding spread for today’s event.

We had such a wonderful day today, making lots of memories and creating precious moments for our residents✨

We also bid farewell today to our very special Dan, who is sadly leaving Ladden View today to further his career. Dan, you will be utterly and truly missed by everyone at Ladden View and we wish you nothing but the best for the future❤️

Football Fever🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️

We have had a “fun filled football” day today at Ladden View.

This morning, Pollyanna hosted a seated football class, where we focused on our hand-eye coordination skills, kicking and rolling the ball, and finished with a penalty shootout⚽️

This afternoon, we enjoyed ice cream sundae’s and got geared up for the big game, flags in hand, faces painted, ready to cheer on the boys🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🎉
