Three years ago this business was me, a clinic room, and a lot of hope.

I didn't plan for two locations. I didn't plan for a team of eight. I had only ever hoped for a leading role in professional sport. Year two arrived like a wave and I just tried not to drown in it, even though I was grateful.

Year three was the year I finally got on my feet. The team found its shape and I found mine.

And now we're here. Starting year four and for the first time, we're growing on purpose. A rebrand, a repositioning, technology that genuinely excites me, and people joining this team who I cannot wait to introduce you to.

Proactive Chiropractic is three years old today. To every patient, every teammate, every person who took a chance on us in that first quiet year, thank you. You built this too.

The best is genuinely still to come. šŸ„‚

It was great to meet so many new faces, connect with local businesses, and chat about all things health, wellbeing and community. Events like this remind us how much small independents thrive in Cardiff and weā€™re excited to be part of it.

A huge thank you to Activ People HR for having us!

We had such a brilliant time delivering a Workplace Wellbeing Lunch for the ActivPeople HR team last week. Itā€™s always a pleasure working with organisations who genuinely value the health and happiness of their staff.

During the session, we explored:
How to set up your desk so your body isnā€™t fighting against you all day
The link between stress, tension and pain
Simple movement ā€œsnacksā€ to break up long periods of sitting

One of the highlights was measuring the teamā€™s grip strength. Itā€™s one of the strongest predictors of healthy ageing, and gave everyone a chance to see where they sit compared to expected values for their age group. Safe to sayā€¦ there were some competitive moments!

Another year of incredible learning, connection and inspiration, and the British Chiropractic Association have once again delivered an experience, not just a conference.

From thought-provoking talks to hands-on sessions and genuinely moving moments, it was a reminder of why we love this profession and the community behind it.

Shockwave shouldn't be unbearable, but we'd be lying if we said it was pain free.
