💙 Carers Week 2026: 8th–14th June 💙

This Carers Week, we are proud to support the national theme of "Building Carer Friendly Communities" and recognise the incredible contribution of unpaid carers in our community.

A carer is anyone who provides unpaid care and support to a family member, friend, or neighbour who could not manage without their help due to illness, disability, frailty, mental health needs, or addiction.

Caring for someone can be rewarding, but it can also have an impact on your own health and wellbeing. If you are an unpaid carer, it is important that you receive the support you need.

📣 Exciting News from the Practice

We are pleased to let our patients know that we will soon be going live with our new Patient Navigation AI system.

This new service is designed to help direct patients to the most appropriate care and support more quickly and efficiently. When contacting the practice, you may notice some changes to the way we ask questions about your request. This helps ensure you are guided to the right clinician or service first time.

The system will:
✅ Help patients access the right care faster
✅ Improve response times
✅ Support our reception team and clinicians
✅ Ensure urgent problems are prioritised appropriately

Patient confidentiality and data security remain a top priority, and the system works within strict NHS information governance standards.
