My name's Kate and I've been running Tots Play Cardiff North since September 2014. My Award Winning classes are so much fun, while giving your little ones a developmental boost! We have a great mix of activities in each session - Baby & Toddler Yoga, Sign Language, Music & Movement, Instruments, Baby Massage, Story Massage, Bubbles, Sensory Play and loads more! All designed to intrigue, stimulate and encourage your little one to develop their senses through play!

🧡I have 5 different classes, suitable from Birth to 2.5 years old.:
💙Baby Development (Birth to 6 months old)
💙Discovery Tots (8-12 weeks to active crawling)
💙Younger Social Tots (crawling to 15 months)
💙Social Tots (crawling to 2.5 years)
💙Daddy & Me classes - once a month on a Saturday morning

All of my sessions are very friendly and welcoming! We help to support Parents and Carers to build friendships at classes.

🧡I'm based at The Cwtch, Caerleon Child Care Nursery, Parc Ty Glas, Llanishen Cardiff CF14 5DU

🧡Open invite after each class to go into Jump Soft Play (directly next door) for FREE together after each class, or for a coffee & cake over the road at Moo Moo's Coffee Shop inside Llanishen Leisure Centre

➡️ My Tots Play Daddy & Me Baby & Toddler Saturday classes are back again this week and you’re very welcome to join us!

🧡Expect activities like baby & toddler yoga & movement, instrument activities, Sign, Sensory Play, Physical Play & Bubbles!

🧡All in a really welcoming environment that gives you play ideas to take home & enjoy with your Tot & where you can chat to other Dads with Tots of a similar age

🧡Open invites for either a FREE play in Jump Soft Play next door or a coffee after class with the other Dads!

🧡 I run these classes once a month on a Saturday in my beautiful classes home Caerleon Child Care Cardiff - Llanishen

Just the loveliest first day back and 4️⃣ lush classes today!!

Welcome back to so many returning families, how much have the Tots grown over summer break! So lovely to see you all! ❤️

And welcome to lots of lovely new to Tots Play families too! Really lovely to meet you all today!! 🧡

We kicked off my fully booked September Baby Development Courses today with this lovely lot 😍!! Here we are having some time to get to know each other as a group, because my Course is as much about YOU as it is your beautiful babies! Getting out and making new friends who get it = goals 🙌

We have a lovely mix of first, second & third time Mums and it was lovely to welcome a couple of dads today too! The babies did so well with their Baby Massage! It’s going to be a lovely 6 weeks with you all!

Can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow 😍

If you’re new here, I’m Kate, Class Leader & Owner at Tots Play Cardiff North Baby & Toddler classes 😍

I’m Mum to two daughters & two cheeky cats and at the weekends & in school holidays you’ll find me dragging my kids out to explore new places & old favourites ❤️ (and then enjoying writing about them on my other Instagram page )

I’ve been running my classes since 2014, after attending Tots Play with my eldest daughter prompted a complete career change from being a Qualified Accountant to retraining and joining Tots Play! A scary decision but I wanted to work more flexibly around my daughter and do a job I actually enjoyed! It’s all more than worked out 🙌

😍 I’m super passionate about helping Mums make friends and build your support network. It can be so lonely as a new parent and I make my classes what I needed myself as a new mum. You’re in caring, safe hands 🥰

🕰️ Things have changed so much over the last 12 years but my passion for providing high quality classes which will boost your Tots development, boost bonding with your Tot, which are lots of FUN and all while you have a chance to have a relaxed chat and maybe even join for the coffee date after class hasn’t wavered!

I love working with all of you & your beautiful children 🧡🧡 I can’t wait to kick off classes again next week at our beautiful classes home at the wonderful Caerleon Child Care Cardiff - Llanishen 😍

This girl ❤️
She may look entirely bored during the sessions she comes to, but she’s an absolutely massive help unloading, setting up, cleaning up and resetting in between sessions and packing & loading up at the end of the day! I actually don’t think I could do my Summer & Easter Parties without her help now!

🧡 Tots Play has played such a massive part in her childhood - she’s the reason I started running the classes - and she’s been helping me in various guises since she was tiny!
Testing new sensory play ideas & practicing new songs with me when she was little, coming to all the fairs & events I used to do, helping me on inset days and in school holidays…and I know I gently tease her and have to ask her several times to help sometimes during sessions because she’s often not listening to what we’re doing, but she’s a star and I’m so grateful for her!

🧡 Her sister’s a star too, but she has been having weekly physio at the amazing Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital every Tuesday this summer for her poorly leg so she hasn’t been able to join us, except for this week ❤️

I pay them a little ‘wage’ based on how much they help out on the day. I’ve done this for a few years, it gives them a bit extra spending money which they love but it also teaches them that hard work pays off!

🧡 A few people have commented on how bored she looks at sessions this summer, but it’s ok for children & teenagers to be bored sometimes right, especially while I’m hard at work ❤️
And I’m lucky I’ve always been able to bring them with me to work, because there’s never been much family help & zero help for the last long while.

She even looked after me a few weeks ago when my Labyrinthitis was so bad I couldn’t stand on my own, making me lunch etc ❤️

I’m so lucky to get to spend so much of their school holidays with them both, I’m so proud of them both ❤️❤️ thank you to my girls ❤️❤️ xx

🌺 Tots Play In the Garden Summer Parties at The Pantmawr Inn today!

☀️ We enjoyed our favourite songs, pondy parachute play, duck pond water play, catch a fish sensory pond, veggy digging sensory box & bubbles plus so many of you stayed for a drink, lunch and a chat together, how lush is that! 😍

☀️ Thank you all so much for coming today and this summer! I had the best summer with you and your babies, toddlers & older siblings!! I hope you enjoyed it too!

🫶 A massive thank you to Jen and everyone at The Pantmawr Inn - what an amazing, kind lady! I’ve made a new friend ☺️ Thank you so much for having us, it was wonderful working with you!! I’ll see you soon!!

A big thank you to my daughters for all their help this summer, you were fab as always girls thank you! ❤️
