Many people with ADHD grow up hearing labels like these before anyone stops to explore what may actually be happening underneath them.

Over time, repeated misunderstandings and mislabelling can have a huge impact on self esteem and identity. This is one of the reasons so many people later describe receiving a diagnosis as validating, not because it changes who they are, but because it finally helps things make sense 🤍

Over the years, we have filled our sensory toy box with some of our team’s favourite tools, alongside items that the children, young people, and adults we support have connected with most during sessions 🤍
