⭐ The team at Arturo Lounge have gone above and beyond, raising a fantastic £2,775 through a bike donation, a bake sale, and a quiz night! Thank you to Stephen and the entire Arturo team for your generosity. Your support means so much to us!

⭐ We'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to Phil and everyone involved in this year's clay pigeon shoot and raffle, which raised a brilliant £2,300! This is the second year Phil has organised the event, and we're so grateful for his continued support and dedication. Thank you to everyone who took part, and truly helped make the day such a success.

⭐️ Nichola and everyone at All Styles Hair and Beauty recently celebrated an incredible 25 years in business. To mark the milestone, Nichola hosted a special celebration and chose to raise vital funds for your hospice, raising a fantastic £800! Thank you Nichola!

⭐ Jill recently took on the Carlisle 10k in memory of her mam, Kathleen, and raised an incredible £470! Jill completed the run with a special knitted heart in her hand, a treasured keepsake she received while her mam was being cared for at the hospice. 💙 Thank you Jill, the funds you have raised will help us continue providing specialist care to more local families.

⭐ Throughout June, Leona walked an amazing 50 miles, including a climb up Skiddaw, raising a fantastic £1933 to support patients and families. Thank you so much Leona for going the extra mile for hospice care!

When Adam Slade was diagnosed with MSA, Multiple System Atrophy, he found himself becoming increasingly isolated - "people look over you, not at you, when you're in a wheelchair - you become more invisible."

When Adam joined our Neuro Living Well Programme, he wasn't sure what to expect. But over the six-week programme, it became something he genuinely looked forward to each week.

"I've realised how important having something to look forward to is. As it is for me, it must be for others. And enjoying life is so important. The hospice can provide that."

Reflecting on his experience, Adam described the impact as "immeasurable for somebody like me." Adam shared, "it allows you to live, to be you, and not be restricted."

Our Neuro Living Well Programme offers support for people living with neurological conditions, helping them build confidence, connect with others and improve their wellbeing.
