The Tower prompts a fear reaction in many people when it turns up in a reading, but I remind my querants that it’s just a catalyst for change; change usually for the better! All the cards that follow (The Star/The Moon/The Sun/Judgement/The World) are progression, healing and fulfilment.
On Saturday we moved from our old home (we’d been there ten years and the area had gone rapidly downhill in that time) I found this tarot card under some drawers. I don’t have the deck: I don’t know why it was there. It absolutely rang true as the time in that home recently has been Tower-esque.
Along with the usual stresses, strains and sh*te of moving home, the process of leaving our old house has been a huge upheaval - of childhood things for the kids (the only home they really remember), a million memories and firsts happened there: as well as many goodbyes. It’s been so very emotional. My own grief finally hit hard on Sunday when I was cleaning the gas hob here (we had electric at last house) and it struck me the last gas hobs I cleaned were my mum’s and then my dad’s as I prepared their homes to go to someone else. Tears streaming down my face as I realised this is the first home Chris & I have ever had that our parents aren’t going to come into (in earthly bodies)
But, as I sit here this morning, six weeks exactly from the date we chose this movement, I really do feel the potential for progression, healing and fulfilment in this beautiful house that we get to make part of our family story.
I am still closed for bookings for a little while longer and will let you all know when I’m back; inbox isn’t regularly monitored but I had to share this card with you and my thoughts on it. Sending love 🖤✨
