50 DAYS LEFT OF THE EMPORIUM 🥹🖤
I genuinely don't know where the time is going at the moment. It feels like five minutes ago I was announcing that we'd be closing in December, and somehow we're already at the 50 day mark. 🥴
I've had a lot of people asking how I'm feeling about it all, and I think the answer changes about 47 times a day. 😂
Some days I'm excited about having a bit of my life back, being able to spend time doing things just because I enjoy them, maybe even discovering what a day off feels like again!
Other days I look around the shop and feel a little lump in my throat, because as utterly exhausting as these last four years have been, there's been an awful lot of lovely stuff mixed in with the chaos.
The friendships, the laughter, the people. The conversations around the workshop tables, the familiar faces popping in for a natter, and all the wonderfully random things we've got up to along the way.
It's been a lot. In just about every possible sense of the word. 🖤
But we're not quite finished yet!
There's still plenty going on over these final weeks. We've got some lovely workshops coming up, the stockroom clear out is slowly taking over the shop floor (honestly, I don't think even I realised how much stuff I've accumulated 😂), and tomorrow we're having our little Samhain gathering from 11am until 4pm. 🌙🍂
**And I've still got a couple of announcements and little surprises up my sleeve too...** 👀✨
So, if you're not already signed up to The Emporium's email list, now would be a rather good time to do it! Our lovely email subscribers will be amongst the first to hear what's coming. 🖤
If there's a workshop you've been meaning to try, something you've had your eye on in the shop, or you've just been meaning to pop in and say hello, please do!
I'm not going to pretend I'm not looking forward to slowing down, because I really am. But I also know that when close the door for the final time in December, it's going to feel very strange.
I'm going to try and enjoy these last 50 days for what they are. A chance to squeeze in a few more lovely memories before we say goodbye.
Thank you,
Natalie x
