The team at Purcell Opticians are taking on a 26 mile walking challenge in the Galloway Forest Park this August, to raise vital funds for the Dumfries Macular Society Support Group.

The support group meet every fourth Wednesday at St Georges Hall and is a safe space for those living with sight loss in the area. Purcell Opticians have patients who regularly attend the group and our team members have attended previous meetings in the past to give demonstrations, so it is a group close to our hearts 💛

We will keep the page updated on how our training is going over the coming weeks 💪

Our lovely patient collected two gorgeous pairs of Woodys glasses today, after attending our special eyewear event in May 🍾🥂

Unfortunately no Prosecco at this appointment 😉 but Lynda was over the moon with her choices. One neutral pair for everyday and an electric stand-out blue for those special occasions 💙
