Blackfin have fast become our most popular range in store this year and it’s easy to see why.

Here’s a throwback to Chelsea’s trip to Blackfin in the Dolomites. Each frame is individually handled and quality checked during every stage of its production.

It was amazing to see the hard work and care of all the team at Blackfin and it is reflected in the stunning frames that are produced as a result.

Our patients love Blackfin because they are incredibly lightweight, durable and comfortable to wear.

The team received their Macular Society t-shirts for our 26 mile walking challenge this August, raising vital funds for our local Macular Society Support Group. We have started our training already, putting the miles in the evenings after work.

The team at Purcell Opticians are taking on a 26 mile walking challenge in the Galloway Forest Park this August, to raise vital funds for the Dumfries Macular Society Support Group.

The support group meet every fourth Wednesday at St Georges Hall and is a safe space for those living with sight loss in the area. Purcell Opticians have patients who regularly attend the group and our team members have attended previous meetings in the past to give demonstrations, so it is a group close to our hearts 💛

We will keep the page updated on how our training is going over the coming weeks 💪

Our lovely patient collected two gorgeous pairs of Woodys glasses today, after attending our special eyewear event in May 🍾🥂

Unfortunately no Prosecco at this appointment 😉 but Lynda was over the moon with her choices. One neutral pair for everyday and an electric stand-out blue for those special occasions 💙
