Carpal Tunnel Release is performed for persistent symptoms and once non operative treament fails. Vast majority of them are done under local anaesthetic and has excellent success rates (over 95%) in the right patient. For years, colleagues and patients have asked why I hadn’t set up a regular practice in central London.
My answer was always the same: I wasn’t looking for another clinic. I was waiting for the right opportunity.
With a busy, established practice across Kent and the South East, a move into London had to offer something exceptional — the right vision, the right team, and the chance to build something genuinely world-class.
LIPS Healthcare offered exactly that.
I’m thrilled to share that I’m helping develop a dedicated upper limb unit at Battersea Power Station — one of London’s most exciting new healthcare destinations.
This isn’t just an expansion of my surgical practice. It’s the chance to build a true centre of excellence: specialist shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand care under one roof, combining evidence-based surgery, multidisciplinary rehabilitation and an outstanding patient experience.
Bringing over 30 years of upper limb experience to London — alongside my continuing practice in Kent — is an exciting new chapter.
Thank you to the team at LIPS Healthcare for such a warm welcome. Looking forward to setting a new standard in upper limb care, together.
