Rest is an essential part of your recovery, but so is gentle movement. 🤍

Following surgery, it’s important to give your body the time it needs to heal. However, recovery doesn’t necessarily mean staying in bed all day.

Short, gentle walks around your home can help encourage healthy circulation, reduce the risk of blood clots and support your overall recovery.

The key is finding the right balance between rest and activity, without pushing yourself too hard or rushing back into your usual routine.

Every surgical procedure and every patient’s recovery is different, so always follow your surgeon’s individual aftercare guidance. Remember, recovery is a journey, not a race.

This inspiring 38-year-old mum put in the hard work, losing all her postpartum weight through healthy lifestyle changes. However, despite her progress, she was left with stretched skin and weakened abdominal muscles; a common and frustrating reality after pregnancy.

We performed a lipoabdominoplasty to remove excess skin, tighten the abdominal wall, and refine her waistline with liposuction.
