This October, we’re proud to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month and help encourage more conversations around breast health and the importance of knowing what’s normal for you.
Taking a few moments to regularly check your breasts and being aware of any changes can make a real difference.
Things to look out for can include:
🎀A lump or thickening in the breast or armpit
🎀Changes in the size or shape of your breast
🎀Skin changes, such as dimpling, redness or a rash
🎀Changes to the ni**le or unusual discharge
🎀Persistent pain in the breast or armpit
If something doesn’t feel right or you notice a change that’s unusual for you, don’t put off getting it checked.
This month, our thoughts are with everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer, whether personally or through someone they love. By talking openly, sharing awareness and looking out for one another, we can all play a small part in encouraging people to take action when something doesn’t feel right.
