You weren't born confident. Nobody was.
It's easy to look at confident people and assume they've always been that way. The reality is usually much less dramatic.
Confidence is often the result of experience. When you do something repeatedly and survive the awkward moments, your mind gradually learns, "I can handle this."
The challenge is that our minds are excellent record keepers. If you've experienced criticism, embarrassment, or failure, those memories can sometimes outweigh dozens of successes. Frustrating reality and often leads us to avoid doing the activities in the first place..which compounds the issue!
This is where many people get stuck. They aren't lacking ability. They're carrying old evidence that no longer reflects who they are today.
Hypnosis can help by working with those deeper patterns and beliefs, allowing you to respond to situations based on the present rather than old experiences.
Confidence isn't about never feeling nervous. It's about knowing you can cope when you do. And if you can build in a recovery strategy for when things do not go the right way...you will have bounce back results too.
Don't think it's true? Think of one thing you do confidently today that once felt intimidating. What changed?
