What are you doing this weekend to support your health and wellbeing?
It’s suddenly got sunny out there and I decided to try and rescue my eleagnus from a marauding bramble for the umpteenth time this year and my poor philadelphus from my neighbours’ beautiful, but rather overzealous, wisteria. I only filled half a bin before I gave up, due to the fact that I’ve retired from ladders unless there is someone there to catch me. Which is all rather a preamble to admitting that getting jobs done can be very rewarding, if you pick the right time to do them.
I also painted a step and did some touch-ups to a door, plus I began the job of preparing the wallpaper under my bedroom window for Autumn again- every year it gets wet from seeping rain and the wallpaper needs stain stop or glue and paint, or all of the above! So glad to have the oomph to get all these essential things done. Thanks, Une! 🙏🏻 And the photo is of the current state of my long border after it has rained a bit! There is life again!! Thanks again, Une! 💫
