🏆 Our ivolve Awards finalists have been chosen!

Over the past few weeks, our judges have had the wonderful, and very difficult, job of reading nominations celebrating colleagues and teams from across ivolve.

✨Stories of people going the extra mile.
✨Moments of kindness and compassion.
✨Achievements worth shouting about.
✨And colleagues making a difference.

Now, the decisions are in. 👀

Our finalists will be finding out very soon, as we begin the countdown to the on 15 October in Birmingham. 🎉

It will be an evening bringing colleagues from across England and Wales together to celebrate everything our teams achieve, and the brilliant people who make it possible.

“They say I can do anything. That makes me smile.” 💚

Since moving to Sandal, Ben’s world has grown in so many ways. Today, his life includes:

🎓 College (he loves it!)
⚽ A Leeds United bedroom he chose himself
🎢 Holidays, days out and new experiences
🤝 Growing confidence and independence
💛 Strong relationships with family

But behind those moments is something even more important: support built around Ben. The team took the time to understand what works for him, listened closely to his family and adapted their approach around his individual needs.

The result? A home where Ben feels understood, more confident and able to make choices about the life he wants to lead. His sister Stacey describes the change beautifully: Ben has gone from simply surviving to truly thriving. ✨

🏡 Mick would love a new housemate at Cranbourne House!

If you spend a little time with Mick, you’ll quickly see that he likes to make the most of life. ❤️

From trips out and strawberry picking to celebrations at home, singing for everyone at events and enjoying time with friends, there’s rarely a dull moment. And one achievement we’re particularly proud of? Mick now volunteers at the British Heart Foundation - getting involved in his local community, contributing his time and enjoying something that’s his. 🙌

That’s what life at Cranbourne House is all about: supporting people to do more of what makes them happy, build their independence and work towards the things that matter to them. Based in Bradford, it's a welcoming residential home supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

There are:
✨ Bright communal spaces for spending time together,
✨ A large garden, sensory and multi-faith spaces
✨ 7 en-suite bedrooms and a self-contained flat.

🐝🌻 Pennine House have been busy bees!

For the final project we’re featuring from Warm Hearts, Green Homes, the people we support and team at Pennine House have turned recycling into something pretty special. 💚

Using old pallets, wellies, plastic bottles, tin cans, guttering and even a bookshelf that was destined for the tip, they’ve created:

📚 A cosy book nook
🌈 A colourful chill-out zone
🌱 Recycled garden planters
💧 A sustainable watering system
🐞 And a whole family of friendly recycled insects!

After weeks of painting, building, decorating and planting, the garden has become a brighter, greener space that everyone has helped to shape.

And what a wonderful project to finish on. 💚
A huge thank you to everyone across ivolve who has got involved in Warm Hearts, Green Homes. You’ve brought brilliant ideas to life, given old things new purpose and created spaces that mean something to the people we support. 🙌

💚 A throwback to a very special achievement at Wellwick House…

Robbie, a person we support, told our team that wanted to take part in a charity event because, in his words, he wanted to: “Show people that I’m a good person, that I’m a kind person.”

While his team were quick to remind him that they already know just how kind he is, they were delighted to support Robbie in taking on this challenge and achieving his goal.

They supported him to search for local events, pick a cause - he chose Race For Life - apply and prepare. They even supported him around the course, with plenty of chats, laughs and encouragement along the way. There was one very proud Robbie at the finish. 🏅

It’s a wonderful example of our Strive valued and active outcome in action, supporting people to follow what matters to them, contribute to their communities and feel proud of what they achieve.

And Robbie is already searching for his next charity challenge! 👀
