📬 That moment when you spot a letter from the DWP on the doormat...
Instant stomach drop. 😬
I was already preparing myself for what it might say, only to find out it was actually an extension to my PIP award.
The DWP has been extending some awards to help reduce backlogs and avoid unnecessary reassessments, but it isn’t happening to everyone.

PIP YOU CANT PROVE FRAUD FROM A VIDEO

To all those people worried and scared to go out - I want to reassure you that no 10 sec video uploaded or sent to a website or DWP will prove Fraud

PIP is not based on one moment but what you can or cannot do the majority of the time

Yes there are people out there who are encouraging people to monitor people they think are defrauding the system but we know the truth - Fraud in PIP is low and we should not have to feel threatened

To those who think all disabilities are seen, think again.

What if I say “Pip Saves Money” ?

Cost of pip approx. £55 billion that’s 1/3 of the £184 billion carers and pip saves the NHS and Local Authorities – approximately the same amount it costs to run the NHS !

So, what if a new government removed PIP ?
People would lose their independence, would not be able to go to work, or indeed stay in work

They would need more care, more hospital and medical care appts, travel to appts, carers, lose their homes, and carers, they would lose their jobs, physios, OTS etc

Think about that because the real cost of not having PI

Isn’t it interesting how they can cast aspersions on the poor and the vulnerable but they can’t see the correlation to their own greed!

Conservative MP Edward Leigh thinks disabled people and pensioners cost too much.

He claims £2350 to pay his Council Tax, and £2500 to pay his energy bills every year

But he isn't disabled or a pensioner, he is on £94,000

Who here thinks it's time we looked at the MPs expenses?
